U.S. News & World Report once again ranked UArizona's management information systems program No. 1 among public universities in its 2023 Best Graduate Schools list. UArizona's geology program rose to No. 2 overall.

University of Arizona mining and geological engineering teams competing in the 2022 Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration/National Sand, Stone and Gravel Association's (SME/NSSGA) student design competition placed in the top three for the second year in a row.
